This project was to rebrand retail security guards for the year 2026 with the scenario ‘the high street is dead’
I decided as the high street was dead that these empty shops would just become more housing, with more housing comes more people and with that comes more crime. As police numbers are dropping and street violence is on the rise I want my retail security guards to become street security/neighbourhood watch and I want a system that can bring the community and people together to feel safer. I created a brand system which is able to adapt and change to fit in with the different platforms that would come with it.
All together my brand aims to keep people safe and happy and still keeps the guards in a job.
The wristband contains a tracking device and when near the viewpoint posts it will record where you are so keeping friends
or family aware of where you are.
There is also a safety box which you can lock yourself in if you feel in immediate
danger. The container uses glass where you can see out but other people can’t see in. Because of this you can make sure that
the situation is secure to leave again.
